Milan Layover

A few hours in Milan, Italy on layover to Vienna, Austria. This week has been particularly hard. Yesterday however, was one of those days when the universe conspires against you.

Missed the first plane out of OKC, had to get standby for the next flight out.

Next flight I get borded on, but due to heavy storms in Dallas, I sat on the tarmac for 3 hours waiting for storm to let up then another hour to refuel the plane.

This causes me to miss my connecting flight to Newark, I run through Dallas airport trying to catch the next plane I could find.

I get on the next plane to Newark, but my luggage does not. My luggage is lost and I arrive at 8pm, just in time to check into my connecting international flight.

Give American Airlines my hotel information in Bratislava, Slovakia, where I will wind up for the next three days, hopefully I will have a change of clothes soon.

In the Newark airport I look for outlets to charge my electronics, 1 out of 15 outlets workes (no kidding).

Nothing to eat all day, the only thing served on the plane is fish. I really dislike fish, but even if I was okay with fish, I don't think I would be okay with airplane fish.

Diet coke spills in my bag and gets a little bit on the only pair of jeans I own at the moment.

At this rate, I was thankful the plane even made it safely to Italy.

Next stop is Vienna, then grabbing the train over to Slovakia.
