Going back to France in May. I am looking for a compressed course to take in French in the next few weeks. If anyone has a suggestion, please advise.
Wow- when I saw the title to your post pop up on my screen- I got a hot flash!
Anyhow...
My daughter is taking Spanish and has this little electronic doo-hicky-translator-thing-a-ma-jig and it has helped her out alot. I know how you like them there electronic stuff...Aim high Inc?
hey i was just going to recommend rosetta stone too...it really is bigtime expensive, multiple discs but it is very helpful and gets you speaking important phrases quickly.
BUT...
I got something off of itunes audiobooks called Pimsleur Quick and simple french for english speakers and its probably my favorite and most used, its also not that expensive and you can play it on your ipod when your walking or painting and practice along with it. You can also skip chapters and learn specific things.

Lucky! I have very limited skills when it comes to using French correctly. The best learning tool is Rosetta Stone. It's ridiculously expensive. I've been trying to get one on ebay. I'm so jealous and happy for you. I would love to live in France.
