Who knows what the tide can bring
I have been sick for some time. Not down and out sick, but the kind that keeps you awake at nights and hacking up stuff during the day. It's draining and it just makes you kind of hate life while you have it in a debilitating way.
I extended my stay in Texas because I can (let's hope) and because it's warm here, I can smell the ocean here and can feel the sun here. It's not quite Manly beach in Sydney but it works.
I have been staying in a beautiful Victorian styled cottage home. I have had no allergies here, no asthma, no anything. I don't sweat in abundance here (and it's warmer) I think some people's bodies were just built for specific climates.
I really hope New York City can just warm the hell up a bit before I head back over the next few days.
Typhoid Beau
Last week while I was in Oklahoma, I managed to not get sick from allergies. I did however get food poisoning, or so I thought. After hurling up for a day and feeling sore all over, I felt a lot better the next day and vowed never to eat at that place again, I thought it was a done deal.
Over the following week, many people I have known have found themselves also hurling up for about a twenty-four hour period and feeling pretty much like crap. Today, the news is reporting a bug that is hitting everyone all over the US.
I'm sorry America. I won't eat there ever again.

Adult Swim and Cartoon Network have apologized and paid the city of Boston two million dollars for the mishap. Generous, considering that other cities such as New York and Seattle didn't freak right the hell out over the same objects that had been there for weeks and looked nothing like a bomb.

I used to be a little obsessed with Anna Nicole Smith back in her Guess modeling days when I was in college. It was ruined pretty much right after I heard her speak. But what I can't get over is, when her show came out and it was obvious and apparent to everyone watching how messed up she was, where were the people who cared for her?
